From Bangladesh to Canada

This audio portrait tells the story of my mom, Ruhi Zaman and what home is for her. She was born in Bangladesh in 1963 and immigrated to Canada in 1988. This audio portrait explains how home for her is two countries, one where she was born and lived through her country becoming independent, but another where she was able to raise her family and fall in love with a country that gave her freedom and opportunities to herself, but also her family.
