Soundscape Composition

This soundscape composition focuses on  how a community fosters around the concept of belonging.

I was born and raised in Ottawa, however in September 2010 my family constructed our current home, here in Kanata North. However, this April ( 2021) we are moving to Kanata South as we finished constructing our "forever" home. My house here in Kanata North, is what I consider to be my childhood home. I graduated from middle school, high school in this house. I watched both my older sisters get married in this house, and had three nephews in this house. Not only that, but I met my best friends in this neighbourhood. This neighbourhood fosters this environment of belonging, in a world were there is so much hate on being different, this neighbourhood showed over and over, that everyone belongs. 

Shoutout to Kanata north for giving me the most amazing 12 years of life!
